Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    black bumpers

    what type/finish paint is everyone using witht the black bumpers? i love the look i just want to make sure it turns out right the first time. thanks

    well im not sure what finish they are using but the brand i suggest you use would be dupli-color!

      lol they're stock, not painted
      i believe it's the DX model that came with 'em.

        Yeah I beleive that's true... Though if you like it then any flat black paint will work.

            flat black paint,99 cents a can at autozone.it came on the dx models.

                  pick up some
                  Dulicolor Bumper Coating in black it matchs oem perfect
                  just make sure u do good prep work or else it will flake

                    Flat black bumpers came on the dx models. No power windows or locks..

                        im gonna sooner or later gonna change my DX bumpers out for to 92-93 one after my h22 swap..my sn is Djmoua and like Fort Minor says, Remember the name.

                          well I also seen a nice black paint just for bumpers at autozone. I had a friend that used it on his tercel. It's like bumper coating or somethin but the finish is clean as you can get. I used 99cent spray paint to paint my tercel and just wasn't satisfied with the finish. If I could do it all again I would have done that stoff and prepped way better.

                            DX bumpers. Aka "BBB"(Black Bumper Beauty). Check Ebay or junk yards. Paint works as well.

                            Drew, you newb...
                            It wouldnt be a downgrade, just a paint difference.

                              don't down grade to dx status man most cbs tuners are trying to get ex and jdm bumpers to bring dx level to ex status. just leave it like it is trust me
