TrevorD92 is cool... so far.
92 EXR coupe, F22A6 engine, cheap engine mods?

Besides the swap of intake and throttle body from the H22, what else could be done to the engine while remaining under say 1000 bucks?

Well, I am by no means an expert in this topic, as I only own a head out of this motor and nothing else so far, but if it was me, I would think about a nice header to invest into. The stock manifolds are junk. People always overlook the importance of proper exhaust. The thing to know here is that it almost never kills power, unless highly restrictive. In fact, it is directly the opposite. A good exhaust header will be a major contributor to all motor power. Look for something that has 4:2:1 design if you want to keep the low RPM grunt, some nice bends and more or less equal length pipes.

Regards, KBA.

This is almost the same question with the exception of the budget so the info within should be a good starting point. Beyond what was listed you start opening up the engine and doing mods like a cam, headwork and tuning but that all may be out of your budget once you get the basics done. Research would be your biggest help as this question and anything related has been explained quite a bit in the beginner technical section and the regular member technical section. This will show you what doesn't work, what does and what you can expect out of any chosen path you take.

sonikaccord seems to have made some friends!
Prelude transmission would be a nice upgrade.
