ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Because all of ur air is comming from ur engine compartment really. i mean yea it does get cool air from outside but soon as the engine is warm is always gonna blow warm air out of the vent. even on the recirrucluation mode its blows the hot air trapped in ur dash out.
Reason for keepin the ac. yes it frees up hp but i much rather ride around on a 95 degrees day wit the windows up the be sweatin like i was at the suana.
i just got a cb wit ice cold ac and prob will never cut out the ac ever again. just my opinion on the ac tho.

      the rebuild!

Not to sound like a smartass but is your knob broken?
I remember when I first got my CB I had this problem and I finally pulled out my knob and it was broken. I felt like an idiot, really...

this happens to my friends prelude everytime i drive it hot air comes out from the bottom of the seats from the vents.

but he has a big exhaust leak. so maybe that might contribute. i d k.

is your A/C working properly? you might be low on refridgerant or freon. Or your compressor could be on its way out.

my a/c does not work and my knob is broken, but i know that there is a metal cable thing under the dash that you pull for hot air, and push towards firewall for colder air.

When you turn the knob back and forth, can you hear a noise under the dash? Like the heater core opening/closing?

If not, the cable behind the knob is no longer attatched.

If the AC is hot then I would say your most likely out of freon. I'm low on freon too and the AC struggles to keep the car cool this time of year. They don't make r12 anymore and conversions are expensive. I drive with the windows down. lol
