From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Stock exhaust question.

    Hey Guys,

My Stock EX exhaust sucks, And i am thinking about replacing it with a new
exhaust that has the same dimensions, but has bigger tips, and is nice and shiny ! the tips are welded on, instead of being bolted on. I want to know if
the muffler is actually welded on, or just "in"

    Thanks !

Why do you want to replace the entire exhaust with the same diameter piping? Doesn't make sense, but if you want to then feel free.

The stock muffler is welded on.

x2...the cost just to have a shop cut off the stock muffler and weld another on, plus the cost of the muffler itself will be about equal to a Megan catback.

i personally like the look of the EX twin tip muffler so long as the tips are in good condition.
