lol. It's been quite awhile since I've done anything other than fixing the repeated problems haha. 2 alternator belts and three different coolant hoses lol.

But there will be some progress soon. Planning on installing the prelude rear reflectors when I get a new dremel, and I went to pull-a-part and grabbed some goodies-

First got a new leather shift boot to replace my hideously shredded one. This was a nice find- I cant find ANY signs of wear- the pics do no justice. full lining, and soft leather. must have been very new when the car got wrecked.




Then a set of perfect 6x9 pods from an SE coupe. they are being painted to match right now.



then a set of projectors from some mazda-can't remember what kind- these have 9006 bases, and even with my HIDs have a very nice cut-off and great output.


and i grabbed another prelude steering wheel that will most likely be sold in my for sale thread unless my wife decides she wants in on her cb.

A Long Awaited Update!

So after viewing This thread I decided to purchase a pair.
My intention is to get a set of TSX projectors, use the cutoff sheild assembly and lens, and retrofit without much modification and being able to keep the sealed housing. Experimenting with my massive 3" mazda projectors, I am confident it will be smooth going. The mazdas fit in nearly all the way to the reflector bowl and even nearly able to use the shroud with them. Until then however, I'm using them as they came.

Decent results. There are fitment issues I was already aware of, as they are 9293 lights and I obviously have a 9091 front end. My plans for the 9293 front end will fix that. I still have the bumper I have yet to put on lol. Also, while the headlamps as a whole are great quality (glass outer lens, glass inner lens, etc) the actuall mounting and aiming mechanisms not so much. I'll be swapping the housings onto my stock mounting brackets when I do the retro. Overall, very happy with the results. I'll post pics of the cutoff most likely tonight as soon as I go to do my initial aiming. From my test fits last night the cutoff is what I would call "decent". It's a strraight JDM style cutoff, and very little light leakage above. color leaves something to be desired. Again, all things that will be resolved with the retro.

That's the plan, hopefully. Lost my job recently, so depending on how that goes if I have a new job then, and if I can have off...lol but should be there!!

Thanks man. Yeah, I agree lol. I'll be putting tsx projectors in these, and whenever I find a decent set of one-piecers, these will go to the sedan and I'll do a blackhouse/retro on the jdm's lol. but for now, very nice look I think

I have two set but they're gone now...

Those should be great just for now..Better than stock.
