Well that was short lived. He was being lazy and it cost him. I told him drive it 500mi and change the oil. He drove it 150mi then took it to a jiffy lube and they didn't tighten the drain plug so now he spent all his money and has rod knock.

A true lazy person would have driven it a couple thousand miles before getting the oil changed........ I'll take the head if your friend is needing some dough.

He already fussed out the manager. They told him it was a modified engine and they only stand behind oil changes on all oem cars. That they tighten every drain plug with preset to oem spec pneumatic tools. I could not help but to laugh. I was like right there's your problem. The guy argued for 20-30mins with us that every "lube tech" is fully trained and certified by ase as a technician. They are professionals that don't make mistakes. I called him on his bs and he asked us to leave and stop harassing his employees or he'd have to call the law. So I told him lets just talk to his dad's lawyer and get all the facts and emotions seperated so we can justify taking it to court. Sometimes the hassle of court cost more than what you lost in the first place.

            I call BS on that.
Car is modified,so what? Im pretty sure it hold engine oil the same way a all oem motor does.Jiffy is fully responsible.
It may be a hassle in court but its just as much of a headache replacing brand new parts all over again due to someone elses stupidity.

trust me i agree fully. especially because im the one that did all the work. the problem with cases like this is most judges are against modified cars, especially of the import variety and unless you got some real hard evidence, the corporations usually win. i've already got another bottom end lined up, unfortunately we're going back to a stock head and a stock a6 cam. the cam and crank journals are trashed along with the cam so i gave him a spare a6 cam and he still has his other head. good news is the pistons seem to have not been damaged so with some new rings we can reuse them along with the supertech block guard. he's getting cold feet on me though so idk. apparently he found a h22 with trans for $350 so he's probably going that route, atleast thats what he's telling me now.

I'm going to cali this month so I'm stacking up hours so I can afford to go and he can't afford to pay me any more money right now so....best uf luck to him......traitor, lol.

So I'm thinking about picking up another head to port and I'm thinking about porting my skunk2 intake manifold aswell and setting up a track tune and a street tune.

Well who thought a f22 would hit 190 wheel without a ported head and with stock internals. We pulled 1º of timing out and set it at 12.5 wot.

                      Wow thats amazing
So if you port a head , you should easily run into the 200whp
Im getting some ideas for this f22 i have on my stand

think I'm going to start with a 3" exhaust and go from there. Its been shown to gain 4-5whp un-tuned on a 175whp 2.156L(H22 lol) now you pump in 100cc more displacement and 15whp needing to breath I'm hoping to hit 195whp. Here is dyno results untuned and the link where I found it below.

Yes... But they are the same flow rate as your stock ones.

What he said. Also for the price I'm pretty convinced rdx injectors are the way to go for 250whp or less n/a. They have a superior spray pattern compared to f/h series oem injectors.
