ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

This sint common yet...the motors are still too expensive for it to be common. I onlly know of one member with a K20 on here and his car is the one hasport used to create the mounts...He was the first.

a swap like this prob. costs $5K+ right now. Not to mention its never been done before so only time will tell if it'll be successful in the long run.

The hasport swap kit is not for K20s. It is for K24s out of Accords and K24s out of TSXs.

yeah- the H22 is a much more straightforward (and much cheaper) swap. plus, the aftermarket support for the H22 is pretty awesome. of course, there are always those who are looking to take the road less traveled. personally, i'm still waiting for a solid 3.0 swap

He may have done all the stuff himself.

He (2point6 I believe....he's from collective racing) swapped a K24 in it, not a K20. So like I said....its never been done before.

                            2point6.

                            K24.

                            TSX/CR-V motor.

He was the first person to do it. Hasport and Collective Racing are the companies that helped him do it. Thanks to him and Collective Racing, Hasport now has the mounts for it.

This motor is NOT the K20. Im not sure of the specs of the K24, but I believe its like doing the H22 swap, only its a newer, more reliable motor.

If your friend says he has a K20-swapped 90 Accord, Id say you need to ask for proof. Otherwise, he's full of shit.
