ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Not easily. Even newer Accord rear seats don't fit perfectly. You can probably make them fit, but it's not something I've seen done. It's worth a shot if you're good at custom work, but you'd probably be a pioneer.

I had to weld custom brackets to my Accord sliders after I grinded all the stock OEM seat brackets off that had a combo of rivets and welds, not fun stuff if you don't have the tools. But basically, you want to get it to where you just have the seat sliders, then you can weld a bracket onto there and screw in the seat. This is for a Racing seat. But if you want leather, Acura Vigor Seats bolt right up EXACTLY to the same spots on the floor. The driver seat is power though, so you might need to wire something to make it work. I had to get the rails from the Vigor seat in the JY to make my custom sliders.

^^don't worry those were just tack welds to get the dimensions right, he made them better afterwards

Dont not paint your dash/any other pieces. 3 friends of mine all did this last winter to their cars. By the end of the summer 2 out of 3 had bubbles in the paint and it starting to peel.

Save some time, and money in the long run, just find a interior set in the color your looking for.

Wierd. Seems like I'm the only one that hasn't had this problem. I know if its done right, paint WILL last and continue to look good.

I agree with everyone else though. Paint can be done, but actual black vinyl and plastic pieces are the best way to go. That way you dont have to worry about chemicals hurting them, or scraping, etc.

If you want to paint your interior, then the solution, if you dont want
Fading, is to Remove the pieces and spray them in a booth.
Maaco, and all body shops offer this service. Dupont, PPG, Sherwin Williams etc.,
all make an awesome flexible OEM quality paints for just this purpose!
I've used them in the booth before, and while very stinky they have great adhesion properties and better than OEM fade resistance.
