ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Skunk 2 H22 Intake Manifolds/ Throttle bodies

Hey have any of ya'll tried using the throttle bodies or intake manifolds from Skunk 2 on a F22A1? I'm wanting to do just some mild tuning to my LX and I read this thread http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...ntake+manifold
I want to do something similar to that. The skunk 2 parts are for the H22 though, will this matter? Would they still be a direct bolt on?

    h22 parts will not fit a f22

Well, the plenum of an H22 does fit the A6 or H23 intake manifold runner. So, I can assume that you could at least make the aftermarket throttle body fit.

But, I don't think that the gains wouldn't really be that noticeable.
Why not just do a full H23 intake manifold swap? The h23 throttle body/plenum are the same as the h22 I believe, and if you wanna go the extra mile, port and polish.
Accord 93 LX: H23 intake mani, Ebay short ram, P12 ecu, Full exhaust. Lots of noise... and that's about it, just noise. LOL
Mazdapeed MX-5 04: Begi Intake, Forge BOV, Ebay FMIC. Whoooooooosh... Phhhff!

the throttle body will fit since that is for the H23 also, its just the intake manifold that is the problem. I'll have to start looking for an H23 manifold.

you also have to remember that if you do an aftermarket/enlarged throttle body you must bore the plenum to the same size in order to see and gains. kinda like sucking through a straw, you can make the end of it bigger but it doesnt allow you to get any more air in unless you make the whole straw bigger.

since there is an adapter plate available, obviously it has been done.
