ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Transporting New Seats

I found a set of leathers to replace my current seats and I need to transport them. I have a 93 coupe, has anyone ever transported them in their car or is it best to get a buddy with a truck and just take em home that way? I have both the drivers seat and the passengers seat that I'm picking up.

Looks like I found a way to get it done just gotta remove the passenger seat and play tetris with the other one.

You did it the best way possible.
I've pulled my passenger seat (and rear seat) so many times to cram stuff into my car. Hauling musical equipment to shows, helping friends move, picking up large car parts (FYI, transporting a hood takes a bit of creativity!) It's actually pretty impressive how much a CB can fit!

For a while, I drove around with ONLY a driver's seat installed.

Would they not fit with the rear seat folded down the seat laid all the way back and then sliding them in from trunk into the car? It is amazing what does fit with that rear seat folded down.

        Sold too: Grumpys93, '93CB7Ex, Bunta, prodh22accord, SSMAccord, fleetw00d

That picture is actually from the guy I am buying them from how he took them home. They might fit in the trunk if the seat is folded down. it's worth a shot! maybe ill pull my passenger seat and see if it fits. Im thinking if I take a buddy with me I might just pull the passeneger seat and then install the new one before I drive home. Really excited to get these seats home and into my car. I've had the car for a month and still haven't chosen a name for her yet. I feel like the car will tell you eventually what it's name is you just have to wait for it.

Taking the old one out first, then going to get the new one and installing it there is probably the easiest way. That's how I got a new trunk lid once, took the old one off at home, drove to where the new one was and simply installed it there. Having a wagon is even better!

I want a wagon for this very reason. But the gf just rolls her eyes and sighs every time we see one. Even though she will point them out for me. I can only imagine how much stuff I could bring home in a wagon with the rear seats folded down!

If I lived closer I would let you guys borrow my Volvo wagon to transport your parts, I don't have good luck finding parts while I am out searching. Keep up the good work fellas.

Lol I usually stuff the entire back end of our Honda Pilot while I'm out searching for parts. It can carry a whole crap ton.

                      Step 1. Wagon.
                      Step 2. Air suspension.
                      Step 3. Work Equio 05's, 17x9+25.
                      Step 4. e-fame + practicality

kind of my plan, except different "secret" wheels.

Theyre so much better than the sedans haha. The only thing the sedan has going for it is more power due to weight.
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

Been looking at wheels too, I want something that will keep to the same era of the car, late 80s early 90s. I have my eye on these SSR Longchamp X4s

                        They look so clean!

For heavy duty (full quarter panels) hauling, I have a 99 Ford E350; with the seat out I could probably put that CRX in the back.

I learned to drive in an e350. Dad said of I could drive that and maneuver it safely I could drive anything. He was right. It was our family conversion van and that thing was huge. Couple that with learning to drive stick in my mom's focus I can drive pretty much anything.
