    tire rubbing knuckle

ok i am having some tire rubbing issues. i have aftermarket shocks and springs. they were on it before i bought the car. i cant see the brands as they are warn off but the springs are red and the shocks are white with a world-like logo. i am running prelude saw blades and 195/60r15 tires. i have negative camber but i dont know how bad the angle is. i am pretty low but not super excessive. i am rubbing the inside of the tire on the steering knuckle. i will be getting a set of BWR coilovers in a couple weeks but i am wondering if i am still going to have the same problem. is anyone else experiencing this? i tried searching but after 5 min i got frustrated with the search results as nearly every post was about rubbing on the fender or wheel well. is there something else going on that i need to be worried about? my upper ball joints also look crooked. could that be the cause? its on both in the front. is it crooked from the lowering or are they just going bad? theres also a slight wobble at 60+ mph. is this also the ball joints? any info would be great BEFORE i get the suspension fixed so the other issues can be addressed at the same time.

    Pictures would help

Chances are after 20+ years your baljoints are close to gone. Invest in some SPC camber balljoints and fix your camber and get new balljoints at the same time. They are good priced on tire rack. And there's a DIY writeup on here for install.

The wobble could be a couple things. If you haven't gotten an alignment in a while. (I assume you haven't) Get one after the new coils and balljoints. First thing i would check is your sway bar end links. If the bushings are worn then i could see a little play at higher speeds.

If you can't find something searching on here. Go to google and search keyword cb7tuner. You'll get better results that way.

I have a similar issue. My camber is almost 2 degrees different on once side. It's due to a bent knuckle. The knuckle is almost rubbing my strut. But as Quashish suggested, get a camber kit. I was able to even out my camber, although I only have a camber kit on one side. After I got a camber kit and an aligmnent, I drives alot smoother.
