My GF has very small hands. I was thinking of a Sig P228 or a Ruger SR9C...
I have a kahr pm9 and its awesome. She might also like the shield 9?
I also ordered my self a ghost gun from tnarmsco.comLast edited by phatdoughnut; 07-25-2014, 12:25 AM.H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM

We have a gun show coming up in a couple weeks in Springfield. She is turning 23 the 28th of August, legal age for a CCW in the state of MO. I want to get her handling as many compact pistols as possible. I'm pretty sure she will know which ones right when she runs across it but I just want to make sure we look at everything that might fit her well.
The Ruger SR9C is supposed to be fairly narrow but I cannot find many pictures to get a real feel of how narrow it really is.

This is what I ordered.

Only thing I don't like about the sr9 is that it has safeties. The PM9 is tits, handling is great no horrible kick. It can be expensive though. The shield from what I hear has it all, cheap and great to shoot. It does have a safety I guess, -1.H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM

Well I sold my wasr setup for $1100 to my boss making a $600 profit off what I paid due to having a new baby girl sunday and not having a large enough safe to keep it in assembled.
I used $80 of that to buy a upgraded reduced recoil sprinco tactical for my beretta 92a1, as well as started carving the grips to best fit my hand, refinishing them and changing the oe sight pattern.
I'll start this with my 92a1, I am slowly making this my own.
What I do at home, recarved and shaped my grips to fit my hand, once happy I gold leafed and exotic wood grained them, added a stainless recoil buffer spring setup that feels great and re painted my factory sights to my liking. More to come

Here you go man. As you can see, it's really not much fatter than my 1911 is. The grip is almost identical, but the slide is a bit fatter. It's got a very nice grip, I like it much more than the Glocks; Glocks just feel so damn fat in my hand, drives me crazy. My 1911 is a full size, for size comparison.

If I could only keep three of the firearms I have it would be:
Colt LE6920, rifle
Remington 870, shotgun
Springfield XDM, pistol
