I usually like to get a few nice clothing items at Easter and this year I did it a little last minute. My biggest purchase was this Baroni Prive suit in blue. It's a little lighter than your typical navy without being too bright. It's a two-button, side vent with narrow enough lapels to be up-to-date without being so skinny that I look like a hipster whose style comes from a Rolling Stone magazine. It's on order and hopefully I'll get fitted for it in the next couple of weeks.



I also got this patchwork Madras tie and a navy blazer with gold buttons. Up to this point I only had a linen navy blazer with solid buttons. It was too casual for most instances where a gold-button blazer is appropriate so I made the splurge. With the tie I bought being so casual, though, I looked an odd sort at church on Sunday. I should've prepared my clothing luggage for the trip home for Easter.
