yeah a bit of ps but thesky in the original was very blue it has to do with using just enough fill flash to expose the subject and to be quick enough shutter for the sky to be exposed

                        Some from my backyard:

I wish i wouldnt have used such a dramatic DOF on this one, i really have to get used to this viewfinder! also, the ant WAS in focus, but moved out of focus just as i took the pic.

I was pissed to find out i was shooting all day at ISO 800 because i was playing with the setting last night, and forgot to change it back. the noise is not nearly as bad as it is on my sony at 800 though.

it happens, the other day i went from my normal setting of 400ISO to 100ISO and that just messed up alot of my pictures. and it happens, nobody has that steady of a hand. if you felt like you lost focus on the object, take it again. your pictures are looking great, i can see the progress. you've taken better pictures than i did when i first started. well done. when i started, i took the manual with me everywhere.

Thanks a lot, i appreciate it.

So, i was thinking, for the photography forum. We should have like a "Members Ride" style section, where people can just post photos as the take them in their own thread.

it still looks pretty damn good for ISO 800 Eric. DSLRs and regular point and shoot cameras are very different when it comes to ISO speed. Your pics will still look many times better at high iso with the rebel than any point and shoot at the same iso. Personally I prefer to shoot at about ISO 400 and get a sharper image then shooting at lower ISO and haveing have to use a slower shutter speed. Pics look nice!
