So I just had my rocker arm assembly off the other day so I could replace the lower spark plug tube seals and I compared the F22Ax cam I have to my F22B2 cam and they look identical (lobe orientation and position is the same, woodruff key to the cam gear is in the same place) I measured the cam lobes on the F22Ax cam and compared them to the b2 specs and there was approximately .01-.015 in. ~ .25-.4 mm difference in cam lobe height with the Ax being larger. So what reason would there be for the F22Ax cams not working in a b2?
I won't be in for the buy because if I do get a performance cam now it won't be going in my car for a couple of years, so I may as well wait and pay $18.50 more versus having it sit and potentially get damaged. That being said I am willing to send the F22Ax cam I have in as a core for someone (for cash compensation of course: roughly $25 + shipping, I paid $22 for it at the junkyard.) It does have some light surface rust so I'm not sure if delta would make you pay any extra to remove it, but I would doubt it.
