So, as many of you have already seen, after making a super bad decision of dumping my beloved, beautiful Accord for a pile of junk Volkswagen, I have now ended up with this 2005 Mazda 3 GS Sport 5 door.

I'm really torn on what to do. It's so damn quiet, it needs a a louder exhaust, but I don't want a big lame fart can on it. Just something with a bit of a growl to it.

I'd suggest waiting til you get the intake and see if you like it, if not, get a wider pipe.

Today I ordered 6000k HIDs for my low beams and 3000k for my fogs.

Also got a CAI and a super sick carbn fibre and mesh grille from Japan. JDM yo!

              Pics of said items purchased:

The grille is going to make a huuuuge difference. I really like the look of the Mazda 3s, but the hatches have a slightly bulkier front end than the sedans and none of the parts are interchangable between the two.

This is what the grille should look like, but obviously the outside will be CF and not body colour

Can't afford exhaust. Don't have any play money left over. First payment comes out next month.

Grille should be here in about 3 weeks from Japan.

I've been bored lately and painted my engine covers, removed the door moldings and also ordered the JDM Mazda 3 trunk emblem as it's called the "Axela" in Japan, so I'll remove the "3" on the hatch and it'll read Mazda Axela.

                      Engine covers

Painted the high beams blue lol. I never use the high beams anyways. I just like the blue reflection in the lens

                      Washed and moldings removed

                      Fake carbon fibre fuel door

That's it til my parts start arriving.

Was it hard to remove the moldings?

They peeled right off like butter.

Took like 10 seconds per door.

That was fast. I wanna shave the "moldings" on my bumpers.

Today I grounded my throttle body and advamced my timing by adjusting the crank position sensor.

Absolutely huge difference in drivability and more mid/high end power and way better throttle response.
