Official CB7 Compatible Parts Thread

Ok everyone, I'm not sure if such a thread exists, so I would like to go ahead and begin a thread compiling all compatible parts for our Accords that are from other cars. As most of you know, many of us source mods from other cars, so I think this would be a perfect reference thread for future use.

I would like to see this get a sticky once enough information in gathered.

My goal for this thread is to break down into sections;

ENGINE

EXTERIOR

INTERIOR

SUSPENSION/BRAKES

WHEELS

Please start compiling a list of compatible parts in the following categories above.

State the Part, what vehicle it is from, and what work is required to install it. Post photos if possible.

Let's get this rolling and make a 1 stop info thread. I'm not sure if this is in the right section, so perhaps the mods could move it somewhere more appropriate if necessary.

[1993 CB7 LX]

everyone should know this by now. Acura Legend coupe or sedan lip. I believe its the sedan lip thats a little shorter on the sides, but, i could be wrong.

h23a1 intake manifold - 1992-1996 prelude SI
9091 ABS modulator can be pulled from an 86-90 legend ( this is for 9091 only, 9293 are different )
86-90 acura legend power steering fluid dip stick cap can be used

Wheels
1990-2002 accord 4 lug wheels
1986-1990 acura legend wheels
1992-1996 prelude
1997-1999 acura CL
1996-1998 acura 2.5TL

Interior

1991-1995 acura legend leather wrapped grab rails
1996-2004 acura 3.5RL leather wrapped grab rails ( these can be found in black as well )
1994-2001 acura integra clock ( comes in white or amber on the type R )
1992-1994 acura vigor leather wrapped steering wheel ( 1992-1996 honda prelude airbag can be used )
1998-2002 accord manual leather wrapped shift knobs share the same design as ours but are wrapped with actual leather not simulated
1997-1999 acura CL front seats are a direct swap all 4 bolts line up
1994-1997 honda accord seats are a direct swap all 4 bolts line up
Any center console switch from a 92-00 civic, 92-96 prelude, and 94-01 integra will fit in our center console
1994-1997 accord variable intermittent setting wiper stalks are a direct swap.

Exterior:
1986-1988 acura legend / 1996-1998 acura TL yellow foglight caps fit into the OEM housings like stock ( you must remove the block off shield though )
1996-1998 acura TL mirror glass is the same and can be found in a heated version. ( DIY on that is located here)
1991-1995 acura legend lips can be easily fitted to the front bumper
1990-1997 accord chrome/gold exhaust tips fit the oem muffler
1997-1999 acura CL chrome/gold exhaust tips are identical to the accord tips and fit the OEM muffler
1997-2001 prelude exhaust tips are of a more aggressive design but will also fit the stock dual tip muffler
1992-1994 acura vigor sunroof visors sit lower and look more sleek. You must use clips from a 1986-1990 acura legend sunroof visor to fit it to the roof

Suspension:
Acura Vigor rear anti-roll-bar

Interior:
Most pre-1997 OEM Honda/Acura head units will be direct swaps.

Exterior:
Acura Legend hood dampers from any 1991-1995 sedan

More detailed diatribe on Legend Lips:
1991-1993 Legend Coupe lips (perfect fit)
1994-1995 Legend Coupe type-two lips (too long on sides, most aggressive)
1994-1995 Legend Sedan lips (perfect fit, less aggressive than both coupe lips)
1991-1993 Legend Sedan lips (short on sides, looks like crap)

I would actually like to add now that you remind me

1992-1994 acura vigor rear sway bars are the same as 1997-1999 acura CL rear sway bars ( 16mm )

1987-1990 acura legend rear sway bars are a direct swap ( 15mm )

1994-1997 accord rear sway bars are a direct swap ( 15mm )

1994-1997 accord EX front sway bars are 27.2mm vs our 25mm front sway bars.

1998-1999 acura CL front knuckles are a direct swap for upgrading to ROH. The 1997 year is still HOR

1998-1999 acura CL front hubs will fit into accord hubs to give you ROH as well.

1994-1997 accord wagon/v6 front calipers and rotors are a direct swap for upgrading to 11.1 inch rotors

1992-1994 acura vigor front calipers and rotors are also a direct swap for upgrading to 11.1 inch rotors

As well as 1997 acura 3.0CL front calipers and rotors are a direct swap for upgrading to 11.1 inch rotors

1998-1999 acura 3.0CL front calipers are a direct swap as well but the rotors are ROH

dayco 88389 heater hose can be used to replace the heater hose that goes from under the t-stat to the water valve.

i know it fits because its in my cb right now

INTERIOR:

BA4 Honda Prelude 3 spoke steering wheel fits - Needs some washer put on the shaft to clear the column, and you need to use the clock reel from the Prelude as well. Only 3 wires that need splicing for the cruise control. These come in 2 styles. Both are 3 spoke, but earlier ones have a square H emblem in the centre and the newer ones have a round one.

EXTERIOR:

MK2 VW Jetta flushmount spoiler. Direct fit, virtually no modificiation other than mounting points.

CD5 (94-97) Accord front lip, side skirts and rear lip all fit with minimal trimming. Front grille also kinda fits.

I have seen someone install DC2 Integra bumper signals into a 90-93 bumper.

DA Integra front bumpers will fit, with some slight modification and fabrication

SUSPENSION:

All 1994-1997 Accord suspension is direct swap. It is virtually the same as our cars. Note: 94-97 strut tower braces will not fit CB7s as the CD5 is wider.

WHEELS:

86-90 Acura Legend Teardrop 4 bolt wheels fit, but require at minimum, a 5mm spacer on the front wheels to clear the calipers. The rears fit with no clearance issue.

He means the stock radio from a CR-V and an A pillar gauge pod.

D series an B series Throttle bodies will Fit on F22,F20b,(Might work on H22&H23 idk for sure never had one to tinker with).Note:Most have the map on the TB so it will have to be pluged off if your running a fire wall map.

Exterior:

There is no way they work on both the f22 and h23 because those engines use different throttle bodies.

I tried to fit an h23 throttle body to an a6 plenum at the junkyard and it did not work.
