ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Brought a 92 LX wagon to the party

I bought a LX wagon back in November and it just time I introduce myself and my wagon to this forum. The other forums just don't have as much action going with the CB chassis so I came here since the only big difference is that my CB has bigger boot. I added some pics of how it is now. Bone stock with plans for a sweet build based on fun and daily drive-ability. It's also rare being that it is a factory 5spd manual.

Front bumper is longer from what I understand, I kno the 91 ex bumper is, also wags have 11.1in brakes compared to 2/4 drs @10.1 inch. 5speed isn't really rare. But its not so common.

Thanks. It was a hard find in Washington at least with the 5spd the clean part didn't seem to difficult because most people are super old that own these or have kids to haul around...lol

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware that rotor size was a difference. I am in debate with whether or not to go 5 lug or just stay 4 lug. Been on sort of hunt on rear disc.

Update and a lame one....lol. Installed some used rear mud guards I got from someone parting out a sedan. For some odd reason there were only front ones and as far as I can tell there were never rear ones. Pics just because.

There were most definitely rear mudflaps. In fact, there were a set for '90-'91 bumpers that said "HONDA" on them and a set for '92-'93 bumpers that were plain.

Yeah after I got the car I I did some searching and found that when you bought these new you can get the car with front flaps off the showroom floor but the rears were and extra option. I found it to be strange but I do work at a dealership as a tech and sometimes we do that on new cars.

Nice wagon. That rear window tint is pretty bad though.

                    RIP my last two CB7s.

Oh man is the tint on the back windows ever so bad. It must have been tinted in 1992. I know I want it gone that is for sure a plan just haven't decided on whether or not to re-tint and if so how dark since I do have rain visors that are dark still to be put on...lol

Welcome to the forum fellow CB9 owner!
Do you work at a HONDA dealership? COOL! Keep me in mind when you get "rare" parts!?
Check out the thread I made when I found MY wagon, and feel free to add to it.
Mine is also a 5/speed. She's sitting on F&F II, with G-Square wheels.

That's a very clean CB9, and I love those floor mats!
I also have a pair of rear mud-flaps, just haven't put them on yet.

Post often, and post alot .. *Search* is indeed your friend!

Thanks Steelbluesleepr, It's in great shape under the hood as well which will allow me to drive it while I work at the other mods and repairs.

Pakalolohonda I wish I still worked at a Honda dealership but those days are a few years behind. I found to be a successful tech you can't get burnt out working on the same cars you own everyday. So I work at Mazda seeing as I don't really see myself behind the wheel of one anytime soon. And I was going to work at Toyota at one time but I also own 93 MR2 so that wouldn't fly.
