this is an awesome diy..... but if i may add.... all mirrors are actually jdm....... just the only difference is that we didn't need power folding mirrors or thats what u.s honda thought...... back in 1989 the power folding mirrors where actually a rather expensive option for the lhd accords.... thats why we never got it cuz it was low demand.... if you look on the housing of your stock cb mirrors you will see it says honda and underneath you will find the kanji for honda of america.... so in reality we do have jdm non power folding mirrors.... yay honda!!!

i was in the process of doing this to my coupe back in 2006. i was going to post a diy but never got around to it.

the only thing i did differently, was instead of chizeling that pin out, i drilled a divit into the mirror so the pin could fit into it. just incase it was something important that helped the mirror function correctly.

edit:: hey cool! you used my revised diy!
                    good times...good times...

man i really miss my accord now. :'(

you did what...change the mirror glass? or convert your 4dr mirrors to 2 dr coupe mirrors? I just picked up a set of powerfolds locally for a good price, so I'm gonna dive into this pretty soon.

i use my mirrors alot, so i had to switch the glass. its still hard to see but much better than before

you cant switch the glass you gotta switch the body of the mirror. the jdm body curves in more so the view sucks but the usdm body is angled perfect. you need to switch out the guts and mirror glass. then youll see out them perfect BAM!!!!!!
