I have had some professionally refinsihed. Media blasted to remove paint, clear coat, and corrosion; power coat wheel silver; remachine face to look like OEM; clear powder coat on face. Mine still look new after three years and 30,000+ miles of driving in southern Ohio.
I am going to try this on my set of 92/93 allows. That is a purrrrrty spare you have there
That is the DIY I am going to follow. I know mine have some gouges in them but I am not going to have a race/show car. I want to do the work myself and feel satisfied knowing that I did it. Even if it is crappy. Plus I really do not have 150+ to send out each wheel. I am trying to buy a house and that is not in my budget lol when I have 4 steelies.
I have a set of 17" eurolines on the wagz but I don't really like them, I'd like to go low on OEM wheels for a bit until I find nicer wheels, the eurolines are a bit crap honestly haha.
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.
