i love your car, man. but i would never have the patience to do so much body work on my CB. it needs a lot of work. any tips for a total noob? lol. i'm focusing mostly on learning about engine work right now. but nonetheless, i really appreciate the time and hard work you've put into your car, man. looks hella clean!

                            hello wherm!

i saw that you modded the hood and fenders.
and you repainted them: did you blend the paint? or had to paint the whole hood and fender?

if you did blend: how did you do it?

Talk to some mini truckin guys in your area. They'd either know how, or know where to go.

I repainted my whole car, so blending wasn't necessary for this mod.

You could blend it out though... Modding the fenders is not 100% necessary, but the headlights will stick out about 3/8" or so beyond the front of the hood and the corner lights do not fit the fender "perfectly", but it's your call there. Modding the hood is definately necessary, and there are many ways it can be done, just depends on whose doing it I guess.

It's hard to say what it would cost to do this, I didn't keep track of my time into it, probably had around 25 hrs body work + paint time. Probably not a worthwhile mod unless you and/or a friend with tools and knowledge do it yourselves.
