Those are gorgeous, makes me wanna rebuild my projectors. The inside reflectors on mine were plastic with chrome paint and they melted. My output sucks and have no cut off anymore. Audi A6 projectors too, unexpected quality from them You might be the inspiration I need!

Im glad you like them. Yours look badass..if the performance isn't what you'd like, then i'd definitely rebuild them, cuz they look awesome.

I wasn't satisfied with the cut-off...so i tinkered around and found that the seating ring was warped slightly, lifting one edge of the bulb, giving me non-uniform hotspots and a sloped cut-off on the driver's side. It was really affecting overall output quite negatively.
But after a little elbow-grease.....................Problem fixed!
Im pretty happy with these so far. Nighttime visibility is outrageous. I relate it to wearing yellow specs at the shooting range. Pilots also use similarly tinted optics. Everything has a bit more definition.

So sick. I debated doing my high beams yellow when I blackhoused my headlights. I may still do it.
But omg...always been a fan of 3000k.
Im still tinkering with the cutoff/beam pattern/hot-spot alignment. Kinda tedious, but it's actually a lot of fun. Last night i adjusted the bulb seat and i got some color flicker, right at the cutoff....it looks so frigin' cool!

Fixed the bulb seating issue.
I think it's damn near perfect.
~15ft
~50ft
Even the driving experience is better..
They may look a little (or a lot) green, but i can assure you that they are a deep golden yellow...just as described by TRS.
My camera isn't set-up for this...

Originally posted by bleach288I think it depends on state but its legal in cali apparently as long as your head lights are white or yellow
25950. This section applies to the color of lamps and to any
reflector exhibiting or reflecting perceptible light of 0.05 candela
or more per foot-candle of incident illumination. Unless provided
otherwise, the color of lamps and reflectors upon a vehicle shall be
as follows:
(a) The emitted light from all lamps and the reflected light from
all reflectors, visible from in front of a vehicle, shall be white or
yellow, except as follows:
(1) Rear side marker lamps required by Section 25100 may show red
to the front.
(2) The color of foglamps described in Section 24403 may be in the
color spectrum from white to yellow.
and i don't think "halogen" is a color.
That's too bad they'd hassle you about that shit, bro. Cuz the clarity and sight distance with this color is beast.
