Hey dudes!
I was leaving a grocery store this evening, when I turned the key to crank position and it got stuck there, so the engine was running and the starter was also still running. While I was panicking I was able to pull the key straight out, even though the starter, and the motor were running.
Luckily I was able to pull the negative battery cable off, and coax the ignition to the off position. I was thankfully able to carefully start the car and drive home.
Would that be a bad ingnition cylinder I need to replace? The electrical switch was working fine, but the cylinder seemed to bind up and got stuck. Advice would be greatly appreciated!
