possibly my next big purchase (opinions please)

ok so i came across a 90' 240sx today in the middle of fucking nowhere and somebody was mowing grass and i stopped and asked them if they wanted to sell it and we bullshitted around and the guy told me he bought it 3 months ago and hasnt got time to work on it and he would sell it for what he put into it...he bought a new waterpump for it and the trannys fucked but that wouldnt be a hard fix all in all he is asking $250




no rust either!!!
im still gonna keep the cb as my daily beater i just love this model 240

ohh if i get it itll be fixed ill gurantee you that but i have nooooo clue on how much 240 trannys run? anyone know

the guy told me the 1st gear 3rd gear and 5th gear is fucked up and sometimes rreverse is fucked up the wayy i look at it is the whole tranny needs replaced fuck spending alot of money to have it rebuilt.

yea but ive only ever seen 4 240's total around here so ill probably need to travel to ffind a tranny

Did not realize was auto, IMO, leave alone. Not worth the hassle/headach of fixing or not fixing and tryingto flip...
