Hmm for home entertainment audio I'm not too familiar with. As for car audio I love Rockford Fosgate, Hifonics, Fi, DC Audio, and a few other amp companies.

Im a fan of the Pioneer decks, seem to have the best sound and equalizer options straight from the box. Add in a decent amp/door/rear deck speakers and a sub, you're good to go!

Currently, I have infinity 6.5" 3 ways in my doors, Pioneer 6.5" 3-ways on my rear deck, an OLD MTX 500w monoblock, and 2 OLD MTX 12" subs.

No dynomat, no extra insulation, just the above. And, it pounds pretty damn good. It'll rattle the pictures on my walls from my parking space outside, about 25' from my appt....

Ive had a Jense amp for about 2 years now and still rocks my subs!
for speakers I only use Alpine or Pioneer, same with decks.

I say Pioneer has the best sound over all for all products. Not very high in price too so thats always good.

I would definitely go Pioneer. I`ve had my Pioneer Premier Head Unit for 6 years and it still works like new!
