Today I was browsing thru my Modified magazine(very good mag BTW) when I came across an ad for Automotive touch Up. Automotive Touch Up is a company that specialize in OEM colors, so I decide it to look up my color. Come to find out that they have every OEM color for the CB7, not only do they have them, but they have them in Aerosol cans as well as little 1/2 ounce touch up bottle. I my self am pretty excited about this. I was just going to get rid off my OEM color (Arcadia Green Pearl), but now I am going to get it restored. Hope that this is useful to some of you. Here is the link to Automotive Touch Up's website. http://www.automotivetouchup.com/cho...a&model=Accord

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Perfect color match for your CB7.

The original OEM paint colour probably won't be much of a match. Considering your car has been sun f#@ked for 19-22 years. If you look around there are quiet a few local auto parts stores that can actually mix and match paints based on the actual colour of your existing paint. Take in a chip or paint or drive your car in and let them match it with there paint chips. They can usually load them into an aerosol spray can if you want to pay the $$$.
I do this all the time for small welded patch jobs.

They're a good company and all, my father in law got a can of the spray paint for some touchups he was doing on his pt cruiser and the color match was good enough, but the price is outrageous IMO. $20 for a can of spray paint? Plus i just checked shipping. To VA, 1-2 weeks, $8. 3-5 days is $12. HOLY CRAP. Obviously the value is in the eye of the beholder but not worth it to me.

Who complains about a 20$ can of spray paint thats an oem color? Especially if its base coat, thats a good deal. I used to make spray cans in a paint shop for cars and for SHIT paint it started at 25$ a can.
I used to use that website alot tho to help customers figure out what color they had and find the code. Very cool site IMO

I post the site here for the benefit of those who want to keep their OEM color. Look at my car on the Beginers rides thread so can see how not all CB7s paint is all faded and looking like crap. Mine just need a new clear coat and a few touch ups, thats why the link is here. I see already that it has been helpful to some, so I am happy.

What clear are you guys using? I just recently painted a fender and qtr on a 04 civic with this clear and it's a urethane- http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_2_part_2k_aerosol.cfm
And it turned out great, also ordered the base in a spray can from them and they require some VIN info to better match the color. For spray bomb it turned out awesome.
