New Oil Pump Installation

Hey guys, I have been in the process of freshening up the F22A4 that I pulled
out of my car.

I had a question about the oil pump. When I pulled the old pump off & while I
have been cleaning the mating surface on the block it looks like from factory
some RTV or sealant was used around some of the edges.

When I install the new pump should I be using some RTV or sealant?
If so are there specific spots or corner parts I should use it on?

Nevermind, I flipped the page on the haynes manual & it says apply a thin coat of RTV sealant to the pump housing-to-block sealing surface.

Make sure you get those corners!

Make sure you use Hondabond HT. Permatex grey is ok, but shouldnt be used where its impossible to get back at.
