Not sure that I understand the question. The CB came with 6.5 inch or 6x9 rear pods. These speaker sizes are common in the market.

The rear speaker pods and the door speaker baskets of a 92 LX are both for 6.5 inch speakers. The EX had 6x9 speaker pods in the rear and speaker enclosures in the doors that held 4 inch speakers (if I remember correctly). The rear pods can be swapped to use 6x9 in your LX. The door speaker enclosures can also be swapped in place of the LX baskets. Honda speakers have a plastic connector on them that mates with a plug in the wiring harness. Adapters can be purchased from places like Crutchfield that permit connecting to aftermarket speakers without cutting the plugs off your vehicle's wiring harness.

you're much better off getting aftermarket speakers than trying to junkyard-bash replacements. Speakers come in common sizes,

I wasn't necessarily steering him to OEM speakers, just letting him know what size speakers (as you say, fairly common sizes) fit the factory pods and enclosures.

Oh I know. I was just answering his question as it sounded like he was trying to get some out of other cars.
