        So I just read this for the fourth time..how exactly are you supposed to pull the needles off without breaking them?

                        I did this and I'm having a problem screwing two of the little gold screws that hold the tach and one behind the speedo. Now my gauges aren't working. Am I the only one? I realize it's probably not this modification that caused this but any help on what to do would be great.
                        My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

                          You probably overtightened them. Go get yourself new gauges. Its the only fix.

                            wouldn't the filter burn up? i mean the filter under the bulb where the light shines on to the gauges, cos the bulb is so much bigger and it would touch the filter...i wonder if its gonna be too bright if i completely take the filter off
