Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    rebuild question

i would like some suggestions on a shop to rebuild my H22. I'm not wanting a crazy expensive built motor. Just like a stock rebuild with type S pistons or a little higher compression. And I think I have heard of people using an F22 crank to get 2.3 liters of displacement? I want to stay with using premium pump gas. I think i have even heard of a few people on here that rebuild engines for other members. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Will? Angie?

Long time, no see. What you guys been up to?

Back when i used to roll around KC i knew of a shop or 2, but its been almost 2 years since ive been around those parts, so...

And apparently the shop i WAS gonna have do my h22 swap was shady and stole from ppl and ripped them off, and i think has since closed.

Wait for one of the other KC ppl to chime in. I imagine KS has more shops than we do. Sorry i couldnt help. GL though.

Or even better, try KCSR. Theyre always advertising shops and performance places.

you can do a type S piston setup with a taller cometic's head gasket. also get a virgin h22 head that hasnt been surfaced.

you can easily mill a virgin honda head .040"

I understand all of that, but I'm wanting to get ideas of shops or members to send my motor, to get it rebuilt.

Not sure if he has the time to, but I'm sure HondaFan81 could build a good motor.
