So are you using a retrofit with the high beams of your lights or is it just the angle of the pic?
Must be the angle of the pic, they're just plain ebay projectors.

I'm hoping the ball joints and uca's l ordered get here soon. My problem right now is mostly finding motivation

Alright so tonight I started my suspension repair
And I gotta say it's definitely harder than I thought...
B&G springs and KYB GR2 struts. Moog ball joints/Upper control arms/Tie rods.

Having a little axle trouble. I know I totally should've taken the axle nut off first but I will always know from now on
Can any one tell me if my axle is fried?

The intermediate shaft won't slip back into the inboard joint...

This was the extent of tonight's fun..

Any help would be very appreciative

So tonight's fun consisted of me actually getting the axle nut off. And I will always break it with the wheel on the ground from now on. Good lord what a bitch. I broke a 3/8 breaker bar and a 1/2 one as well ... In the end, the impact wrench and patience perseveres.

Now I need a decent set of snap ring pliers. Moog ball joint in place.

It's Sunday. I should be finished but I effed up my ankle something fierce. Friday I finally finished the driver side after much much learning, and I started the passenger and got reasonably far into it.

New tie rod ends, lbj, uca, strut, spring and axle...super fresh

This was the spring off the driver side. You can see where the spring has snapped in two places. And both old front struts would not decompress at all...

That "u" shaped part is the failure point...

No kidding? It's a scary thought that I drove like that for quite a while.

Now I'm stuck on the passenger side. I cannot for the life of pop the axle out of the trans

Well relax time is over soon. I just finished ordering SPC rear adjustable control arms. As soon as they get here I am diving in, wish me luck!

Great work so far! It's really coming along nicely. I'll keep an eye out for your thread from now on. And good luck with your upcoming project!

Quick question; Do you have any plans for your headlights? I know, in the past, you've mentioned you're not that impressed with the output. Maybe you can retrofit the existing housings with some quality projectors like morimoto mini H1's or Acura TL bi-xenon...just an idea..

Thanks man!
As for headlights I've wanted to go back to stock for a little while, but I have thought about some sort of retro. It's definitely something to consider given my situation...
