ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

u need ti take out your old taillights and unscrew the plastic piece were the bulbs are held. and also the small brown boxes on the side and then you can install them.

OK I see what your saying but there's only one hole on the new tail lights lens and it looks like there's supposed to a ring kinda like what's on the headlight bulbs to lock them in place rather than them dangle around... Sorry if that's not the greatest of descriptions.

You would need to take out the bulb stuff before hand and then unbolt the tail lights housings from the trunk lid. Then bolt in the replacement housing and screw in the bulb stuff as well.

yes exactly what I am trying to accomplish but there's just the new tail light lens and a gasket no housing, how they are in the stock ones is there's a white box that screws onto the back of the old lens but there isn't anything like that on the new lens so the bulb would just be dangling or am I just totally just being stupid?

By the looks of the design of the lights, you might have to let the boxes dangle there like you said, unless you feel like extending the wires to relocate the boxes in a better location.

Better pictures might help us help you better. It's a little difficult to see what sections the pictures represent.

It's essentially swap over all that you can and improvise with the rest. Good luck.

                        ok hopefully better pics

heres the new lens i want on my car, the back anyways

heres the stock lens off the trunk lid

heres probably why im confused, I opened the corner tail light and the bulbs in there have a plastic housing on the bottom to lock them in place

so can I buy these? or not? the new lens only have room for 1 bulb on the trunk lid so would I just eliminate a bulb?
