Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    P12 CEL code 41

alright, I got a Auto p12 from a member here and it throws a code 41 as soon as I install it. So I replaced my o2 sensor with a gently used NTK and reset my ecu and it doesn't go away.

Fast forward to about a week ago, got a brand new o2 sensor NTK and still the ECU throws a p12, I've reset my ecu a few times and it doesn't go away.

so the code is still haunting me, I was careful installing not to bend or strain the wires on it and honestly its just a bit annoying, from my research code 41 should go away with a new o2 and resetting your ecu...

am I missing anything? is there a way to test the ECU itself? or do I just go ahead and find another p12 that hopefully doesn't keep throwing codes?

    thanks for reading.

Honda swapped the EGR control solenoid wire Pin 11, with Pin 6, O2 Sensor heater when going from the accord to the prelude wiring

All I had to do was swap the wire going to Pin A6 with Pin A11 and the Code 41 went away
    Maybe give this a go?

Do you get the CEL on your stock ECU?

No but aren't pt3's notorious for not showing the o2 codes?

it could just be a bad ecu. it does happen.

                          That's what I'm leaning towards.

Is there no way to test a ecu?

Try the ecu in another accord. If it does the same thing then it's probably a bad ecu.

I suppose it would be that simple now wouldn't it lol.

My buddy has a 92 as well so that'll be easy enough.

                              Thanks bro.
