    By whose logic?

What you are telling me is that since people will not be willing to tell the truth, they'll just keep quiet?

Isn't that one of the main reasons that corruption continues (actually gets worse) and society continues to decline because of people not speaking up or speaking the truth? Is this way of thinking going to be passed on to the next generation?

Is there actually flaws in communication, or flaws in those who communicate?

I lean more towards the latter as people telling lies is a breakdown in communication.

Is the truth so powerful that it has the ability to stop communication for a whole day?

Can we make a distinction between the things people lie about on a daily basis and why? What if they told the truth? How would that changes things in certain situations (politics, crime, news/the media, government, spouses, children, law makers, the police, international business, taxes, corruption, etc.)?

Side note : I have a truth to bare. The main thing that I've been working on is patience, and I'm getting better at it everyday. This allows me to patiently wait and be more prepared for the next chapter.

The entire premise of this thread is fundamentally flawed.

          1) It is based on the perspective that there is only one truth and everything else is a lie.

Based on previous history, it is probably safe to assume that this "truth" would only be allowed to agree with one singular viewpoint.

          2) It is based on the premise that most people spend most of their time lying. Not only is that a grotesquely pessimistic view of the world, but it is completely untrue.

          3) In reality most people who aren't saying anything aren't saying anything because they are restraining themselves so as to not be rude, not because they are lying and are faced with lying or saying nothing.

            Interesting.

The truth is always the truth no matter what. We as mature adults can distinguish fact from fiction, or the truth from a lie in ANY given situation.

"Oh honey, does this dress make me look fat? - No, baby (thinking, yeah!)!"

Sure feelings will get hurt, but the truth is the truth.

"Is Donald Trump put in the media to brainwash poor ignorant Americans in thinking that kicking the Mexican population and Islamic population out of the country will solve our problems?"

"Did Bill get a twirly from Monica?"

"Did Bush purposely steal the election?"

            "Did Columbus really discover America?"

What if you can ask these questions, and get an honest answer? Would this change anything? Same going forward with the future.

By this, the original idea raised is not flawed. The truth is always the truth.

For example, Scott, are you a caucasian American? You could answer by saying, "no, I'm hispanic." Does truth lie in that answer?

The truth is always the truth of the truth's viewpoint.

To be continued... Have some business to attend to.

            Continuation...

2 - Politicians, lawyers, and corporate executives lie damn near every minute. That's an optimistic view of reality. It's a shame that it's the truth.

3 - Do you know where the term stop snitching came from (basically, being quiet regarding subjects that could implement people)? I'll tell you that it definitely was not the streets.

The "truth" is not always the "truth." It changes with viewpoint. The world is not black and white.

P.S. You are actually demonstrating my point in every single one of those loaded questions.

P.S.S. Someone as informed as yourself would know that "caucasian" includes hispanics. However, the correct term is actually "white" which includes hispanics; and that is why census materials are broken down into "white - hispanic" and "white - non-hispanic."

However, if the truth is always the truth, then I am curious what your take on Michael Brown was since the unquestionable scientific evidence only told one story.

How far down this rabbit hole do you really want to go, and how "patient" are you willing to be?

If I wanted to know if you were a white-hispanic, that's what I would have mentioned in the question. I didn't! Someone who is white is different than a person who is a white-hispanic. That's why there's a distinction between the two on the census. Ask the voters who's not casting their vote for Trump; they'll clearly tell you.

                ...and this!

The truth! I think I'll take a "caucasian" or white as you want to call it construction worker's word that he was shot with his hands up. That was right after it happened, and that guy was a complete stranger to the entire situation at the time.

It may not be murder in the 1st, but damn sure murder.

The truth is, Mr. Brown was shot by Officer Wilson while in a surrendering position with his hands raised in the air.

I'm willing to go as far as I need to see what it takes to reveal the truth. How about you?

What's your take on the Michael Brown murder, because it damn sure wasn't self defense?

Edit: The questions aren't loaded. They can be answered, or I can rephrase if there's an objection. That election in 2004... where do I begin with the questions?

There's always a sound solid truth. When people don't speak or tell a lie, that what distorts the facts and allows false truths to appear (basically lies). This has been going on since, well, at least 1492, and I'm sure it goes back even further.

They are loaded and so are your answers.

You can take whoever's answer you want. I believe the forensic evidence because ballistics and physics don't lie.

Of course you are such a brilliant engineer (as you are so fond of telling everyone) that you should already know that.

The forensics and ballistics say he was shot from below (by someone in a seated position below him) and he had powder burns on his hands and forearms which means he was in close proximity to the weapon when it was fired (you can use that brilliant engineering mind to figure out how someone could be within 3 feet of a gun blast being shot from below by an officer in a car). As I recall, there may have also been some muzzle burns on or near his hands, which would indicate that his hands were actually on the gun when it discharged. Figure that one out. This is also most likely why officer Darren Wilson was quietly not prosecuted after the fact (despite the Snake Al Sharpton's efforts to the contrary), because the evidence didn't add up to a brutal murder of the victim, and a grand jury wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Sad but true.

P.S. Forensics and investigation 101: Eye witnesses are largely unreliable. Of course I actually have background in that matter, so you can argue that until you are blue in the face.

As for the 2004 election, are you sure you aren't confused with the 2000 election with Gore? You seem to be mistaking the two. As for 2000, he was vindicated by multiple recounts and it isn't the first time the popular vote and the electoral vote didn't agree. But you would have to actually understand the system to know that.

As for Trump, more loaded bullshit. You again (and falsely so) assume that only white people are voting for Trump, and obviously that all white people are voting for him. That is probably because you are ignorant to the world. Hispanics are a SUB SET of whites, just like Jamaicans are a subset of blacks. The reason they are differentiated by the US government is because of liberal pushing to make it so. And isn't it odd demographically that a group of people who has more in common with native people's than white people is lumped with white people? That doesn't seem at all odd to you?

But thank you for proving my point and shooting your postulate that there is only one truth in the foot. You make it too easy to spring the trap buddy. Too predictable.

                        Lol.

Ballistics evidence doesn't lie, but PEOPLE do especially when they have months to rehearse their lies. It's that simple. That man in the video didn't have time to rehearse. It was honest on the spot instinctive truth. I bet you the ballistic specialist had time to rehrearse though.

As far as engineers and physicists, they are supposed to abide by ethics and morals. However, I recently have had the privilege of interacting with a few, who may I add, have doctorate degrees, who have lied to not only their peers, but America as well. As a true engineer who abides by ethics and morals, I simply couldn't be in a an environment like that.

Furthermore, regarding Mr. Brown, look at the video I posted. The point is, clearly stated by many eye witnesses (that's why we use them in trials as honest testimony in court) who all colaborate the same story. The consensus was Mr. Brown was some distance away from the officer with his hands raised in the air in a surrendering position, and he was shot multiple times without any weapons on him. The proof is in the pudding; in this case, the cell phone video.

Regarding the election, it was 2004.

Onto a simpler truth, so can some answer this? Did Christopher Columbus discover America?

                          Just for Scott...

Peer: You know, people appreciate when someone has integrity. They'll remember it and you respect you for it.

Me: Really? I didn't know it was that serious. You know, I see a lot of things that are wrong, and I'm not one to lie about it when asked. I'm big on ethics, and I stick to my morals. That's how I am.

Peer: That's really great. Honestly. The only thing is, most people don't like truthful people in certain settings. They can't handle honest people.

                          Me: Really? Why?

Peer: Well, because a person who is honest can't be controlled, and people don't like that. They can't handle that.

                          Me: Yeah, I know!

Peer: People don't forget though, and your integrity shows. People see it. They know. Don't lose that. *Followed by a facial expression of admiration.

That came from a guy graduating from a top tier (top 2% of nationwide engineering univerisities) engineering university.

You see Scott, I don't let the truth I understand get clouded or skewed by racism, money, greed, anger, frustration, politics, corruption, intimidation, or manipulation. I let solid facts dictate the truth. You should try it. If it's a lie, I'm going to call it a lie.

Don't bend and shape things. That's where the truth gets distorted, you know, that enhanced shaded gray area. Keep it simple. Black and white, truth and lies.

I'm glad you posted those questions in response to America question.

Knowing that the Santa Maria wasn't built during the periods that you mentioned, a basis for the truth, basically setting a premise for truth versus a lie, needs to be established.

Since I am one not to know it all, how can we go about doing this? I have some ideas from reading, but let's see the best way to create such as base. We have to think about aspects from religion, to history, to simple rights and wrongs. Does The Constitution of The United States dictate this basis? Arguments from the Bible/Quran/Torah? Do we look at rules and laws from ancient Mesopotamia or the first civilizations in Africa or China?

Just curious, if there is any white person willing to answer, please do honestly. I'm also asking the white people in my family this same question, so...
