ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

How do I put the side sash trim back on?

So the previous owner of my cb7 got into a few small accidents. One of which somehow led to the side sash trim, or at least I think thats what it's called, if I'm wrong please correct me, so the accident led to the trim getting knocked off, I for the life of me, cant figure out how to put it back on. I think some or all of the clips are broken on it. Buying another trim thing isnt really an easy option, If someone can post a pic of the clips on the trim and explain how it goes together, I may be able to work something out with some light re-engineering

On a side note, Yes, I am aware of the severe rust issue, I have a separate thread for that and I do plan on dealing with it soon.

According to Majestic, there are one #9 and three #10 clips that hold the side protector on. They slip into the slots on the back of the protector (two of your slots appear to be broken), then the assembly can be pushed straight onto the quarter panel. It looks like only the #10 clips are still available from Honda.

Here's a shot of the two forward clips on the driver side protector (all four clips appeared to be identical):

To get one off another car, you need to take the quarter trim off the interior, then pinch the clips to release them.

How would I go about removing the quarter trim in the interior? I may be able to rig something up to keep the trim on from the inside

Remove the lower seat cushion; single bolt left of center between the bottom and back cushion, then tilt it forward to disengage the heavy wire loops at the front edge. Remove a few screws from the panel.
