Seriously dude...
Whatever it is... It was clearly emphasized, so don`t be a dick. Someone here was just trying to help some people on here. Clearly, you don`t have time to take pictures every 30 seconds, but time to be an ass on a forum. Not time well spent either I would say.
P.S
I got the VSS from Dr. Auto Parts on eBay. I finally got a refund.

Are auto/manual VSS's interchangable?? As far as the adaptability of the 3P connector and the drive link??
TIA!!!
I have to assume that the manual and automatic VSSs are the same, as I didn't specify manual vs automatic when I bought mine, and it worked fine in my manual. Given that there are far more automatics than manuals, I'd guess that the more commonly produced version would be automatic, but mine worked anyway...

for some reason my JDM Automatic MP0A VSS didn't want to bolt up to the JDM M2A4 5spd trans. The gear on the Auto VSS was a lot diff. then the gear on the manual VSS, its a lot bigger for one, and doesn't go in the 5spd's I found out. Plus, the bracket is a bit short, so the sensor can't be secured properly. Anyone come across this when doing a 5spd swap?

Although an older thread, I'm throwing in my two cents!!
I too purchased the e-bay special VSS about three months ago (after a few months of putting it off). Local stores all wanted $90, to which I said .
So I got my ebay VSS, installed it,.. Then went for a test drive. At first it seamed as though all was great. Until I noticed my tach!! (to which I'd been using in Lou of my speedo for a few months) It was saying I was doing 40, while the speedo says I'm doing 30!! Yet after 20-30 min of driving, it comes into accuracy.
I work in electronics and understand what happens here too. The Manufacturer was cheap on parts quality. Using CHEAP resistor/s ended up with a part where resistance changes like a thermistor in varying temps.
My point is just this. If you buy the $20 ebay unit. You MAY want to buy two or three! Just in case 1, 2 fail out of the box.
Or spend the $90 on a decent part! It's A LOT cheaper then the speeding ticket you'll get!

I dunno if im right in saying this, but i think the faulty VSS may be messing with my gas mileage. Maybe through the ECU by way of the map being adjusted for throttle position and speed.
Im not sure. If anyone has had experience with this, i'd love to hear it....
maybe i should make a thread if this discussion has any merit.
