ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Actually that is all one sentence. lol.

Your plugs push out because the wires get oil in them.

You really gotta do the valve cover gaskets(Not head gaskets) right or else you'll leak oil into your plugs again.

If not get a new valve cover.

1st, you need to start using periods, DAMN, lol. Have you tried new wires. I mean do you know for a fact that those are the wires for your model? Make sure your not using some wires off some other car the last owner just threw on there to sell the car. If they are, I think you said you did the head on the car, was the valve cover put back on correctly. its probably pissing out oil if its not, but it might not be, so check that as well.

I'm having the same problem. It's because my tube seals are leaking and the oil is pushing the wire out. (I'm only having the problem on one wire!)

If your seals are all good and there is no oil on the plug wires, make sure your plugs are tight enough (13 ft-lbs is all it takes!) as combustion gases could be pushing it out!

It could be the tube seals like has been said. There are upper ones that are easy to change and lower ones that are more involved. The lower ones require the camshaft to be removed.

Also if I had the same problem that many times I would not get the same thing or go to the same place again. Going to Advance 3 times for wires? No sir.

I got this set with the OE style boots & they are not comming off. They were difficult to remove to do my timing belt.

The wires that came on my car were really cheap looking, little skinny wires and boots that just kinda convered the tube holes & would pop off... I joke they came from Dollar General.
Officially "hilarious mad sarcastic"! Thanks CB74christ for the recognition of my work.

This sounds right. It may help to put a bead of silicone over the camshaft groove on the valve cover to assist with the seal.
