    illinois_erik : 1992 Accord LX

I came across this CB when looking for replacement interior for a 93 SE.
After I found out all he did was throw a rod in the original engine, I decide to pay a bit more then scrap value as that what his plans were after parting it out. 400 bucks later I had a decent roller to invest time in since the 93 SE was a lost cause. Mint Blue untouched Interior, except for a few things spray painted on the dash.

I have Facebook and usually drop photos to a dedicated album on there of my progress..check it out if you want:

          Refurbished the front sway bar

I forgot whom it was but their sway bar rotted away enough on the ends to break. Im not having that. Theyre pretty flimsy as it is. So I removed all corrosion, cold galvanised it and top coated. I will use silicon grease upon reassembly along with poly endlinks and bushings..Just kind of whittling away at things

Good to see an MRT from you. I have been wanting to see your CB project(s) for a long time now. I love white CBs!

Thanks for checking it out and being interested..Im partial to the white one myself..itll look so clean!

and on another note..Im glad I double check things, especially when totally dismantling stuff (i probably should have taken a bunch of pictures..lazy!) I installed the front shock hat bushings upside down..they went in easier that way, but I remedied that tonite. I think I have my wish bones/shocks mixed up though..Im glad I have a CD5 to cross reference against for those little things and the online honda parts sites with their blown up diagrams..life saver for sure..

                Installed block and trans today

Got the block and trans installed today by myself with a floor jack some ratchet straps and a few pieces of wood.

Now i think things will pick up speed.

I was going to use the harness that came with the H to make the swap subharness but Ive decided to just buy one from rywire, then after that its just buying coolant hoses, fluids and getting it all back together.
Tonite Ill get the trans hooked up to the shifter cable, bolt the flex plate to the torque converter and might put the front suspension all back together.

The other day I put in my refurbished sway bar, poly bushings, lower control arms and the poly endlinks

Looks like a simple and clean build. What's with the tires in the background?

I only lived here for about 2 years. I used to live by norridge/harwood heights back when I was in the CB game.

But yeah once you're up and running we should go on a cruise downtown
