engine coolant temperature sensor

i did a swap in my cb i drop a f23a in after the swap my check engine light came on the ect came up i changed the sensor to a brand new one it still
get the engine light i check it same code i ran a wire from the ect to the ecu same code . be for the swap i never had a check engine light .. help please

This is happening to me too. Just finished the H22A swap and getting CEL code 6 . I've swapped a new one in and still getting that code. Please advise...TIA

I bet mixed up plugs to the sensors is my problem
