    LED underglow.

I finally broke down and bought a cheap LED underglow kit on eBay. $25 shipped, so if it really sucks, I'm not out a whole lot. I have always wanted underglow.

I'm not expecting it to be great, given the price... but I'll post pics and a review once I get it all installed. My inner ricer is excited!

This is the kit I bought (the eBay seller name is even on the image... sorry for the giant pic.)

Nice! You'll be disappointed in them soon. Next time buy a good set. I want to put a set under mine again, but I've got other issues.

I have to ask, why have you always wanted this?

Not to be a dink...but how old are you?

For people of a certain age...underglow was entirely too cool. For people of other ages...it was the stupidest most ridiculous thing ever.

I fall into the "it was totally awesome, I still kinda want it" category. I actually had some purple tubes under the front of my Accord WAY back in the day.

I still have my box of red under glow in the package in my closet waiting for it to be cool again. I actually thought about using it for accent lighting for the house. I had red under glow, under my seats. It actually looked awesome. May install again one day.

My original goal was blue light everywhere! I think i still have my blue neon tubes. That was from before LEDs really were a thing.

I just like the look. For $25, it's worth seeing if I actually like having them. I may get a better set in the future, as I don't expect these to last very long (though I do intend to hold off on giving the seller feedback until i can confirm that they do work properly initially, though!)

Got 'em! They look pretty good, upon initial inspection. Unfortunately, it's raining... so I won't be messing with them today I need a garage, dammit!

puddle lights like you find on a Lexus' sideskirts can pull the same, if not, better look. tho they are supposed to dim off. anything underglow is clean, and my appreciation in them is growing more and more they keep playing 2fast 2furious movies on TV.
