          I love rotaries.

Never thought I'd see the day when a Muscle car guy puts an import motor in his car.

You should check 13B sandrails, VW Bugs, AE86 and many other light weight vehicles. Most people would be surprised to find out that depending which engine the Nova has in it, it can actually be lighter than our CB7. That's why drag racers like that car. So imagine how much lighter it would be with a rotary in it.

He damn near lifted 3 tires off the ground. Damn. In a readers rides issue of Popular Hot Rodding, there was a Nova with a 2.2 or 2.4 litre twin turbo that someone was working on. Forgot what the motor was from. It is bad ass that Chevy guys are doing stuff like this.
We are all ricers, it just depends what flavor rice you are.

Minitrucker by heart, CB7tuner by coincidence.

i thought about that too. i was looking into weights of older american cars. maybe an old corvette. like a c4. i bet a lot of the weight in those cars is the heavy engine. rotary or even a boosted f20c would be nice

it makes power and is geared high but it looks like it cant move the weight.

For everybody who says it weighs to much. This thing weighs less than an FD. It only weighs 2450lbs. An FD weighs 2700lbs.

since the rotary is so small i bet it give the car a better weight balance too. it can be set far back in the bay near the firewall. probably why the car got the nose up in the air so easy because its a much lighter engine than the car was designed for

does anyone know the weights of a rotary and a chevy small block?
