ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

1990 honda accord ex 5 speed swap

hey everyone just got a few questions throughout my swap.
I have everything I need to convert to 5 speed manual, the donor car was a 1992 and got everything pulled out. I pulled out the wiring harness for in the engine bay and under the dash.my question is, is the cruise control setup differently than a automatic? Im just trying to get everything squared away before I mess something up. I've worked on my car from to back for years with no issue. But this one is big for me and id rather ask questions instead of learning the hard way.
Thanks in advance everyone on here for the future help if I can get it.

I can't provide specifics, but the cruise control in a 5 speed is tied into the clutch pedal switch in addition to the brake switch so when either one is pressed, it cancels cruise control.

Is it a totally different wiring harness that goes into that or will a auto one work? I'm just trying to get an idea if I have to add more things into it. Sorry for my lack of understanding in this area. Just want to make it right the first time around

I've swapped engines, and transmissions, but it was always manual to manual, or auto to auto. The DIY section is your friend:

I've already looked into how its done, I just need to see some wiring under the dash as far as the cruise control is set-up on a Manual if its any different is all.

Best tool is a Honda (Helm's Inc.) factory service manual. If I get some time, I'll look at mine.

I'd really appreciate it, I'll take all the help I can get. Just want to get everything done correctly and not mess anything up. Just having some wiring issues that I want to figure out the right way.
