Car died everytime I stopped when it hits half a tank

I must have installed the aftermarket fuel pump wrong. Now when I my fuel level goes down to half, everytime I stopped it dies. But when I filled it up again it doesnt do it. The tank maybe in angle towards the front or the pump was installed wrong. But if you have any idea let me know before I go over the whole proceedure again on taking the whole tank out. Thanks

Take it down and reinstall. Sounds like a faulty installation. This is most likely a Walbro? Also how did you make your electricall connections? Did you use female connectors or modded the stock harness?
