ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    90mm throttle body

What's up everyone. This is my first post or thread and my first forum. Anyways I just want to know if a 90mm throttle body is a good choice or if it will even fit. If not somebody school me please.

There is not a 90mm throttle body in the Honda/Acura world that will fit on and intake manifold you would have. It's not not even made. Assuming it were it would be way too big. LS1 engines come with 78mm throttle bodies and 90mm is a popular upgrade with aftermarket intake manifolds. That's to feed at the minimum 5.7 liters of displacement, not 2.2. Stick with what you have if you don't have anything else done to the car for now. Too much air can be a bad thing because velocity is so important with naturally aspirated smaller engines.

Alright thanks. I justnswapped out the f22a1 for the a6 with minor mods. Header intake mani exhaust with minor suspension. Not that it matters... so inshouldnt worry about abtrottle body till I upgrade internals....

Well for your situation, I feel I should implore. When you put on the F22A6 manifold did you wire the IABs correctly or did you just hook them up to vacuum?

It matters because it affects the next tidbit of advice I would give you.

install the h plenum with matching throttle body. it will be all the upgrade you need. more than that will be too much air for the rest of the engine to handle witout serious internal and exhaust mods to match

That's essentially why I was asking. But if he has his A6 manifold hooked up to a vacuum then it opens the runners about 1500rpm too early (lack of enough velocity is hurtful here) and the large throttle body will further ruin velocity.

then he needs to hook it up properly anyway. but your right the issue will be worse with even more flow
