Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    what all do i need???

    alright guys well after much consideration and thought i think i want boost.. Now. I dont want a whole bunch so im thinking between a 14b or a 16G turbo with a redrilled mani and 450cc dsm injectors.. what else do i need besides like the DP?. im going to be installing it on my JDM F22B DOHC. i currently have a P39 ECU now will i need to do something with it?? i only want about 6-8 ish PSI from the system. not alot as i dont want to tear into my motor..

      If you don't want to tear into your motor, then I suggest you wait. Save up a bit more, and tear into your motor. If you don't want to change a whole lot of stuff, then just do the pistons, but I would recommend the rods as well.

      I had a F22B DOHC and the 450cc injectors, a small 16G or a 14b *it wasn't branded or marked so I don't know for sure* and I broke the ringlands off all 4 of my pistons. Now I have to tear into it and replace a whole lot of stuff.

      Save yourself some trouble and plan for tearing it apart. Could you get away with it, perhaps, but not forever.

        i got the same crazy idea of turbo my CB alot of stuff to do and read, educate your self "knowledge is power" some ppl here might help you some might not so is up to you. i'm no professional but like i want to do this right i read and search. find good friend that know about it so they can help you
        (good friends hard to find)

        the parts i believe need upgrade or change(correct me if i'm wrong)

        piston/rods/rings
        bearing
        new gasket/seals
        ECU/tuning
        fuel pump/injectors
        clutch
        valves/springs/cam shaft
        exhaust
        charge pipe
