k , i wanna make one thats like a nice Glossy black, anyone reccomend a specific type of paint or should i just go with whatever?

Raf, is that a 9091 grille? If so, are you 9091 or 9293?

i got this idea and i didnt even notice there was a diy thread. this diy mesh took me about 2-3 hours using the wrong tools, mreaning nothing i was using was for a car, it was from my kitchen, cutting the mesh i had to go buy wire cutters from walmart for 6 bucks.

i cut all the plastic out of my grille, including the "h" in the middle, although i did not bondo the middle so the bottom has that huge gap from the "h" being removed. i think it looks cleaner with it out, now i have the 92-93 bumpers so i still gotta get a grille and headlights and ill just do it too the other grille too..

my diy "gutter" mesh 91 grille.. before paint, but after i got it all put back together after a while of trimming the mesh carefully


after paint..painted it with black engine enamal, same paint i used for my diy eye lids and same paint used for black housing..


the accord emblem from the rear glued on to the mesh, i debadged everything in back exept for the "h"
