Awesome pickup! Of course the first mod is the Cobb AP. How are you liking the Cobb maps? I'm not happy with mine but it's good to have it when you are ready for a pro-tune.

What are the future plans? Intake, exhaust, none, etc???

Looks good! I'm not wild about the black wheels, but that's all personal preference.

I need to read up more on the AP v3. I've had good luck with a ProTune on my v2 and I typically only use it to monitor feedback knock, but I'm sure there's much mower I could be doing with it.

Good to see you are still around.

These are very quick, theres a few of them here in the UK kicking about. 280lbft through the front wheels is lots for a stock fwd!

Looks in great shape, I can see you getting 300bhp from that without even trying!

Im liking them. They are set up rich though. Safe tunes. Im getting mine street tuned shortly by a local mazdaspeed guy. The AP is an amazing tool.

Already have a catted turboback exhaust coming friday and next week my front mount intercooler is coming in. Right now i have the fuel pump internals, cobb SF intake and Turbo inlet pipe and cobb lowering springs.

I like the black wheels personally and plan to have them powdercoated this winter before i head to basic.

AP V3 i dont think is any different than the V2 in how maps are handled. Just has more features. I can read 6 parameters at once and i have a shift light that i never use.

Good to hear from you again. How have you been?

These are really stupidly quick cars. Im up around the 280 to the wheels mark right now. With all the parts im getting in the mail in the next two weeks AND bumping up to a stage 3 OTS cobb map i should be in the 300Whp and 340wtq range. Just a guesstimate based on other cars with similar mods. Hopefully i can get it dynod before summer ends.

The holes in the bumper were stripped out. The plate kept wanting to fall off. Its no longer on the car. It will be safer hanging on my wall.

I'm not up on newer vehicles but what is the difference between your Mazda and a Ford Focus? Specifically in the motor department...

Im not sure if the focus ST engine is MZR based like the mazdaspeed3. But the ST has a 2.0 and the mazda a 2.3. Both sit on the Ford C1 chassis which is the European Focus chassis.

Clay barred and waxed the car this weekend. Also reinstalled my mudflaps and front license plate.

mud flaps kill the look of the car.

I tend to dissagree. and this car likes to throw rocks.
