Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

turbo90, are you running some kinda boost ignition retard system?

right now i am 99% done with my f22a/b build (a block, b head)...i have forged h beam rods, arais forged pistons, arp rod bolts, arp head studs, arp main studs, and trying to get some total seal rings b/c dyno-flo in NV can eat a dick...

i am shooting for somewhere around 13 pounds of boost and after tuning hopefully over 300hp, hit me up turbo90 and we can chat

hardly economy my friend. its not so much the need for crazy parts the only way to make crazy and efficient power is by selecting parts that match each other well. all too many people purchase all kinds of parts and never even bother to ask if any of the parts are compatible or work well with other parts. i did allot of research when putting my kit together and have spent allot of time tuning and fidgeting to get it to run perfect. anyone and there mother can put together a turbo system and make some sort of power over stock but wether or not you buy the right parts that are going to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the setup is the hard part. ive said it many times before and i will say it again you get what you pay for. all i have to say is that i am loving all the turbo cb7s that are popping up i just hope everyone is actually doing research as to what they are putting on there car is acutally doing and adjust accordingly.

some are and some aren't. Really, we had another thread about this issue because it seems that r33/wikked/and I have made the turbo process far to easy to throw together. On another note tho i know you had no idea the setup was going to last this long.

that's the thing though, they don't want to spoon feed everyone. The spent countless hours of research to get to where they are, they want to help people, but not make it so some 16 yr old with daddy's credit card can do everything. They want you to learn it on your own, research, etc. I've got numerous hours logged on homemadeturbo.com, pgmfi.com, uberdata forum, cb7tuner.com, AT, accordinglydone.com, and DSM forums. It's all out there, you just have to look

I feel my F22 is cranking out around 400hp right now on 15psi with my 60-1. Fully built/sleeved however. Should be 500+hp when i raise the boost to 22psi...
Dude, i hate to tell it to you, but you better lower your boost like NOW, or have a lot of $$ for a new motor or new car... I ran my old setup with a 14b to about 300HP and the motor only took it for a few months before I broke ringlands.
BTW, do you have some pics of your setup???

obviously you cant read cause i have been running this setup for what will be 3 years at the end of july and i have run 14-15 lbs every day!!!!!. anyone can put a turbo on a car and blow it up with 5 lbs there is allot more to making a reliable fast turbo car other than the turbo.
