    Purge Cutoff Solenoid

I am trying to figure out how the BLACK/YELLOW wire that comes off of
the Purge Cutoff Solenoid & into the ELD.

Per the Haynes Manual it shows that the BLK-YEL wire from the solenoid
goes to the ELD UNIT (U/H F/B).. (Page 12-18)

This is for the F22 to go into my Civic.

Can the Black/Yellow wire just be tapped into D10 ELD on the ECU side?
Or does that wire go to a specific point in the ELD Unit?

Well I did a little research on the ELD. I have not checked the harness in the
car but, I am going off this information I have found.

ELD should have three wires going to it.

    Black/Yellow (or Black/Orange) : 12V

    Black: Ground

Red/Green: *5V Sensory Feed to ECU

    Okay so...after some other information about EGRs;

"Depending on vacuum given to the egr, the voltage will raise or fall.
When the conditions are right (warm engine, closed loop, right rpm/load READ: cruising),
the ECU sends a pre-program signal to the control solenoid to open.
If the EGR is not opening/not opening enough/opening too much, the ecu will know
because the lift sensor tells the ECU where the EGR position is.
The ECU will use that reading to compare it to the position it should be.

So, I believe that if the ECU needs to send a signal that is fluctuating,
I would think that the Black/Yellow wire from the Purge Solenoid would
just be able to tap into the Red/Green wire leading to the ELD pin?

    What do you guys think?

This is all because I was following the guide on how to H22 swap an EK Civic
with wiring in the EGR system correctly.

Apparently the H22 has just the EGR Lift Valve Solenoid with just two wires
& the F22 uses this three wire Purge Cutoff Solenoid.

      H22 DIY Instructions:
      EGR lift valve solenoid
(The connector colors, From left to right) BLK/YEL (ORG harness side) and RED (BLK/YEL harness side)

      ECU trigger - BLK/YEL - goes to A7
Sensor Voltage - RED - goes to Key switched power.

I need to figure how to wire the third wire for the P.C. Solenoid on the F22,
      everything else is the same.

I think I figured out where it needs to go into the ECU.

I missed this but OBD1: A20 - PCS Evap Purge Control solenoid Valve

or OBD2: A15 - PCS Evap Purge Control solenoid Valve

        (Red Wire for both)

          Well, still no luck!

I really cannot figure out where that black/yellow wire goes!

I have everything all wired up so when I start the engine I get no CEL. But,
after I drive about 3 miles or so the CEL goes off. I park the car, turn off the
engine & pull the code. It always comes up as code 12.

          Anyone have any input??

All the EGR wiring I found for the H22 isn't working because the F22 uses
a 3 wire connector for the EGR Control Solenoid.

The manual says the wire goes to the ELD but doesn't show how/where?
Is this wire a reference voltage? Or a ground? I noticed there is no ground for this sensor in the DIY wiring.

You think I could switch to a H22 EGR control solenoid since it is only a two
wire connector? Or would it not work for the F22 ECU?

            DIY for H22 EGR wiring

            OBD1:

            EGR lift valve solenoid
(The connector colors, From left to right) BLK/YEL and RED
****ON F22 THERE ARE 3 WIRES (THIS IS MY WIRING QUESTION)****
            Sensor Voltage - BLK/YEL - goes to A25
ECU trigger - RED - goes to A11.

EGR Lift Sensor (the actual EGR on the intake manifold)
(The connector colors, From left to right) WHT/BLK, GRN/WHT, and RED/WHT

            ECU trigger - WHT/BLK - goes to D12
            Sensor ground - GRN/WHT - goes to D22
            Sensor voltage - RED/WHT - goes to D19 or A25

            OBD2:

            EGR lift valve solenoid
(The connector colors, From left to right) BLK/YEL (ORG harness side) and RED (BLK/YEL harness side)
****ON F22 THERE ARE 3 WIRES (THIS IS MY WIRING QUESTION)****
            ECU trigger - BLK/YEL - goes to A7
Sensor Voltage - RED - goes to Key switched power.

EGR Lift Sensor (the actual EGR on the intake manifold)
(The connector colors, From left to right) WHT/BLK, GRN/BLK, and YEL/BLU

            ECU trigger - WHT/BLK - goes to D9
            Sensor ground - GRN/BLK - goes to D11
            Sensor voltage - YEL/BLU - goes to D10

              Never resolved

I could not finish wiring the EGR for the F22 into the Civic.

Sorry guys! I just ended up getting a chipped P06 & using Crome to tune.
