Jack, is your rear seat top part one whole piece? The usdm seats have the side bolsters then the top of the rear seat separate. So 3 pieces.

      Yes. One whole piece.

Jack does your seat fold down like the USDM ones do? Ours is in 3 pieces because the center section folds down.

I'm willing to bet that since it's one piece, it does not fold.

That was my guess as well, but I still am curious.

Looks good! I don't know why I didn't notice before. Is that custom or was it like the usdm rear seats that fold down

Yeah. Your guess were correct. It didn't fold down.

My rear seat is the standard JDM CB's rear seat where the center section has a little 'door' to reach the trunk. Only Si-T model comes with 3pcs design, fold-able and adjustable head rest.

Understood! Thank you for the clarification. Always something new to learn of the cb chassis.

After spending about a week (2 hours per night) working on my replacement dash frame, i've finally got the time to put it on (There is a reason why i need to clear coat the frame). Before that I've had my cluster replaced with a "healthy" board which the door indicator (as well as the room light) light up when the door open.

This frame is a pain in the XXX to install/remove. It's so fragile that a little flex will break it especially when it's in the car for years of hot weather abuse. But the 'new' one came from a good chassis from japan. I can feel the plastic, it still could hold up with some soft flexing. I'm worry the cluster will gives me problem again later which i'll need to remove this frame again to take it out so this is what i did, cut the frame into 2 part.

I epoxied 2 tiny wire at the 2 ends so that the top portion could look as flat as possible with the bottom portion.

                      Finished.

                      Enough deep of feild now.

Yeah my UKDM rear seats are just the same. One piece non folding. Just top hooks, side and bottom brackets. And a ski hatch, which is useful if you dont have a sub! But does let out more bass when open.

Took a day off today and have some free time I decided to do something on the car.

                              Removed the throttle cable holder.

Leave just the clutch fluid reservoir tank holder.

Acquired another set of base frame....original RECARO base frame for CB & CD.

Custom washers for the seat belt lock bracket.
